Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is seeking members for the Equity and Inclusivity Advisory Committee.
The purpose of this committee is to advise HPEDSB and its central team on matters relating to equity, inclusion and diversity (EDI) as well as the implementation of an Equity Action Plan. The committee meets five times per year from 3:30-5:00 PM both in person and virtually depending on the time of year.

The process for determining members is as follows:
Expression of interest review: The Superintendent, chair/co-chair and external partner will review applications and create a shortlist of candidates who best meet the criteria.
Interviews: The Superintendent, chair/co-chair and external partner will conduct a brief interview with each shortlisted candidate.
Selection and appointment: The Superintendent, chair/co-chairs and external partner will collectively select the most suitable candidates, whose skills and background align with the committee's needs. The new member will then be appointed.
