On April 14, 2026, Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board hosted a regional networking session focused on the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom.
Teams of teachers, administrators and district leaders from across Eastern Ontario joined the event, including representatives from:
• Limestone District School Board
• Renfrew County District School Board
• Trillium Lakelands District School Board
• Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board
• Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board
Facilitated by Tom D’Amico and Dean Shareski from Advanced Learning Partnerships, the session centered on how AI can be meaningfully and responsibly interwoven into learning.
By working together, these boards aim to incorporate new technologies in a way that enhances the essential connection between students and educators.
