The 2025-2026 school year calendar has been approved by the Board of Trustees. The calendar dates are pending final approval by the Ministry of Education. We will announce in the next few weeks when the calendar has been officially approved.

First day of school for students: Wednesday, September 3, 2025 (note that JK students may start on other days that week)
Winter Break: Monday, December 22, 2025 to Friday, January 2, 2026
Spring Break: Monday, March 16, 2026 to Friday, March 20, 2026
Last day of school for students: Thursday, June 25, 2026

The 2025-2026 school year calendar was developed collaboratively by Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, Limestone District School Board and Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board due to shared transportation. A consultation process ran from January 23 to February 10, 2025.
