Secondary students from all seven HPEDSB high schools gathered on Monday, October 20, 2025 for the Fall Student Voice Symposium.
Students learned about transformational leadership (and lobstering) from keynote speaker Dr. Kylie Bragdon. Following the presentation was a thoughtful and engaging question and answer period.
Director Katherine MacIver shared the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan video, and asked for feedback on board priorities. Students also learned about the new Words Matter campaign and participated in discussions about the use of Artificial Intelligence.
At the end of the day there was time for sharing about Student Voice initiatives happening at schools.
