Are you working in the skilled trades and interested in pursuing a career in education? You are invited to attend one of two information sessions on how to become a Technological Education teacher. These opportunities are co-hosted by Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board and Queen's University. You can choose the date and location that works best for you:
- Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Bayside Secondary School, 6:00-7:30 PM
- Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Central Hastings School, 6:00-7:30 PM
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Tour the high school tech shops
- Hear from Queen’s University about how to enrol in the TEMS program* and earn while you learn
- Find out how HPEDSB credits your starting salary based on your trades experience and the benefits HPEDSB offers
