This February, many of our schools are focusing on multiplicative reasoning in Math.
Multiplicative Reasoning involves the understanding of the relationship between two quantities (the number of groups and the size of each group) in terms of scaling and proportions. It’s the ability to think about "groups of groups." Instead of counting every item, the child realizes, "I have 2 groups of 2, so that's 4."
