Trenton High School is excited to announce the premiere of two episodes from its innovative "Monster of the Week"-style television series, created by students in the filmmaking program. This unique approach to the school play allows students each semester to collaboratively write, produce and film an episode, gaining valuable, real-world experience in the film industry.
Students in the course work in a model that mirrors the actual film industry, taking on roles such as camera, grip and electric, arts and post-production. This hands-on experience helps them develop essential trade skills and familiarity with professional equipment.
The two episodes from last year's program have completed post-production and will be showcased at Centre Cinemas in Trenton. This special double-feature showcase of student learning is the only opportunity to see these films.
