Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward's Wiggle Waggle Walkathon and Pet Festival is happening June 1, 2025 at Centennial Park, Trenton.
Humane Society HPE is a partner with HPEDSB with Rescue Readers and this is a fundraiser for the program. Rescue Readers gives students the opportunity to read to an animal, increasing knowledge of animal care, shelters and the lives of pets in our community, as well as supporting the development of literacy skills.

The Walkathon is all about raising as many pledges as possible to support the care of the animals at HSHPE. Prizes will be awarded for the top three teams and top three individuals for the most pledges received. The first 100 walkers to register will receive a bag of SWAG from our supporters and vendors. Our goal this year is to raise a minimum of $40,000.
