May 10, 2022_Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is inviting families to let us know if they are interested in tutoring for their child(ren). The sessions will start in late May and take place after the school day, either in-person or virtual, based on student needs and the availability of tutors. The tutors will be qualified elementary and secondary teachers.
- The focus for tutoring in elementary school: foundational literacy and numeracy skills using HPEDSB assessment tools and complementary classroom instruction
- The focus for tutoring in secondary school: foundational literacy and numeracy skills along with credit accumulation (Credit Recovery and Credit Rescue)
If you are interested, please complete the online Expression of Interest for Tutoring Support form by May 16, 2022.
For in-person tutoring, transportation home will be a family responsibility.
