The 2024-2025 school year calendar has been approved by the Board of Trustees and the Ministry of Education.
Based on community feedback and in consultation with Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, and Limestone District School Board, Option #1 was the preferred 2024-2025 school year calendar.
Here are key dates to keep in mind.
Dates for the 2024-2025 school year calendar
First day of school for all students: Wednesday, September 4, 2024 (note that JK students may start school on different days that week)
Winter Break: Monday, December 23, 2024 to Friday, January 3, 2025
Classes resume in the new year: Monday, January 6, 2025
Mid-winter Break: Monday, March 10 to Friday, March 14, 2025
